从事骨科及显微外科工作三十余年，在股骨头缺血性坏死治疗方面独创治疗方法十余种。主持承担“十一五”、“十二五”和“十三五”国家科技支撑计划项目5 项、卫生部公益项目2 项、国家自然科学基金5 项。主要科研成果先后获得教育部科学技术进步一等奖1 项，辽宁省科技发明一等奖1 项，辽宁省科技进步一等奖5 项，二等奖3 项，中华医学科技进步二等奖1 项，日内瓦金奖1项。主编出版学术专著13部，发表SCI 收录论文90余篇，发表核心期刊论文280 余篇，获得专利20 余项。
